Since God relates to His people in covenant relationship, we desire to enter into a covenant with each other under Him. We recognize and value the fact that relationships formed from covenant principals differ from those resulting by contract.
A contract is a legal and binding agreement between two or more people. A contract is bound by law and protects my rights and meets my expectations. It is founded upon the strength of my rights and is fulfilled by observing what is legal.
A covenant is a promise of commitment between two or more people. A covenant is bound by honor and loyalty to one another. In a covenant relationship, all my actions and attitudes are determined by what is best for my clients and teammates.
This Is Our Covenant With You And With One Another:
We will choose to live under authority: We will respect the authority we are under and walk in confidence due to the covering it provides.
