About Cathy

Cathy Brooks has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has been working at Thacker & Brooks Insurance since 1993. She has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and completed the Insurance Executive Program at Appalachian State University. She also holds a Certificate in General Insurance.

As an insurance agent, one of the things Cathy enjoys most about her role is talking to clients and helping them solve their insurance problems. She always listens to clients and their needs first and helps them find the best policies to suit their situations. Although Cathy can help clients secure nearly any type of personal or business insurance, she specializes in home and auto.

When she is not helping clients find the best possible insurance coverage for their needs, Cathy enjoys reading in her spare time.
