About Lisa

Lisa Ballance is a valuable member of our team at Legacy Insurance Partners. She entered the insurance industry in 2016, working at L E Goodgame & Associates. Lisa attended Northern VA Community College and East Carolina University. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Lisa spent over 30 years working in retail management. In her last 10 years in retail, she served as a director of human resources, with 99 stores reporting to her.

Two times a year, Lisa oversaw reviews for over 5,000 employees and ensured all stores completed their benefit elections. She also completed internal investigations for illegal harassment and oversaw terminations for poor performance, as well as hiring for senior levels of management.

In addition to her formal education, Lisa is a certified MOHR Master Trainer. She is also certified by Wicklander and Zulasky as an interviewer and interrogator and has completed Six Sigma Certification training. Additionally, she is an agent of Colonial Life.

The thing Lisa enjoys most about her work is the contact she has with clients. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and results, working directly with clients to complete one-on-one enrollments. Lisa wants her clients to know she is always available to help. After working in the retail industry for many years, she recognizes the importance of listening and responding with a sense of urgency.

Lisa is a devoted aunt to one niece and two nephews. She is known to them and their friends as Aunt Deedums. In her free time, Lisa enjoys gardening and tablescaping (she has over 25 patterns of china). She loves Halloween decorations, all kinds of music, and musicals. She regularly takes her mom to watch the Belk Broadway shows in Charlotte.
