About Brian

Brian Pierce joined our team at Faw Insurance in 2004. Prior to that, he worked on the carrier side for 9 years with Penn National Insurance in underwriting and as a territory manager. In total, he has been in the insurance industry for 25 years after becoming a graduate of Appalachian State in risk management and insurance. He holds multiple designations, including CPCU, CIC, API, and AIS.

Brian is active in several community activities, including serving as a director and officer for the Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Enrichment Services Daycare, as well as for Wilkes Vocational Services, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, and Gigi’s Playhouse. When Brian is not busy giving exceptional service to his clients or taking part in community activities, you’ll likely find him enjoying just about anything outdoors with his family and friends, including mildly sublime walks through his neighborhood with his golden doodle, Finley, taking a peaceful paddle down the New River, or even riding a local mountain bike trail as the ultimate power lunch with coworkers and friends. Brian’s family includes his wife, Larina, and daughters Camille and Nora, ages 11 and 8.
