About Emily

“The flower doesn’t dream of the bee. It blossoms and the bee comes.”

A graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, Emily joined the Broome Associates team in September 2006. She has held dual roles as both Personal Risk Manager and Project & Resource Manager and is now our Operations Manager. Emily gives back to the community through leadership and advisement. She is a proud participant of the inaugural Leadership 4D 360 program, part of the Leadership Network of the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce and an Innovate Catawba priority. Additionally, Emily has enjoyed volunteering on two community boards. She has been a board member of the Hickory Downtown Development Association since January 2016, an organization with the mission of physically and culturally improving downtown Hickory as a place of commerce, recreation and culture. She has served as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Executive Committee for 2+ years. Emily also previously served on the advisory board of the Kappa Delta Sorority chapter at Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2008-2019. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with husband and daughter, hiking with her dog Snoopy, and reading.
